Who we are

We are an ethical high standard council registered breeder. We only breed up to 3 litters a year and our puppies and mumma's are brought up on love and the best of everything. They have their own poodle parlor-themed room. All our parent dogs are DNA health tested and their health and happiness is the most important thing to us. We have enrichment and socialisation programs which include making sure all puppies are socialized with kind kids, gentle babies and other dogs. We also make sure they become used to common household noises like hoovers, tumble dryers and washing machines.

Our Founder has been obsessed with all things dogs and animals since she was a child. This has led to having her own little teddy bear poodle gang as well as a career in dog events, founding events throughout London for dog owners and dogs, including London Dog Week. She has also founded a pet/influencer modelling agency.

It was whilst traveling Asia she discovered micro toy poodles. She felt there was a real lack of these smaller-sized toy poodles in Europe and especially couldn't find one in the UK so she went on a journey that would take over 3 years searching the globe for the right gang to start her poodle pack. She also discovered the breeding world a confusing place and found it hard to find information on reputable breeders and didn't feel when she viewed puppies that the conditions they as kept in were good enough standards of care.

She wanted to share the pure joy experienced by owning a little bear with other people so the natural progression was to go into breeding. Pocket Poodles London began, they are a family of dog lovers and are joined by her husband, her brothers, her parents, and even her grandma, who are all involved in the care and love for these dogs.

Now our bears are becoming known worldwide and we get applications daily from all around the world.

About Micro Toy Poodles

Our Micro Toy Poodles weigh between 3-5 pounds on average and are much shorter and smaller in length than a standard Toy Poodle found in the UK. Our micro Toy Poodles studs weigh just two and three pounds and come from Taiwan, bloodlines, Chinese and Korean blood lines.

All dogs are 100% DNA health tested and colour tested.

.

Toy Poodle Facts:

  • Toy poodles are highly trainable, intelligent and learn new things quickly. (This does mean they need stimulation and can get bored easily.)

  • Their coat is relatively shed-free making them great for allergy sufferers. It does need to be clipped and groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep them looking fabulous.

  • They are the second most intelligent breed in the world.

About Tiny Toy Poodles

Our Tiny Toy Poodles generally weigh between 4-9 pounds on average. We have one english toy and the other one comes from the famous teddy bear style Taiwan bloodline. All dogs are DNA Health Tested and colour tested and registered with British Kennel Club.

About Merle Coloured Toy Poodles

Merle is a rare stunning colouring to toy poodles.  Merle colour can come in blue, silver, red or brown merle. We specialise in breeding chocolate merle/blue merle.

Our Merle Toy Poodle Bitch is British bloodline 100% poodle DNA. She weighs 6 1/2 pounds and is 10 1/2 inches tall. She is DNA healthed and colour tested and carries some amazing colours.

Merle Poodles:

  • Merle refers to a genetic patterning that results in the dogs have unusual fur patterns with varying coloured hair.

  • Merle dogs only started to appear in the 2000's and the colour is considered rare.

  • Sometimes Merles can have rare blue or green eyes or even have different coloured eyes.

  • To get a merle in a litter, one parent must carry the merle gene. It must be noted that two dogs from any merle parents that are in the same litter can NEVER be bred together under any circumstances as this can lead to serious health problems.

  • Their Poodle coat is relatively shed-free making them great for allergy sufferers, it does need to be clipped and groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep them looking fabulous.
Things to consider before owning a Pocket Poodle:

All potential bear parents should fully establish that they have the right financial and physical circumstances to be able to properly care for a dog. Owning a dog is a big commitment and one that should be carefully considered.

Due to their small size, micro and tiny toy poodle puppies must be treated in a careful manner. All food, exercise and care requirements will be carefully explained to any new owner at the time of purchase. Micro's need slightly more specialized care than toy poodles and we do not allow them to go to homes with young children.
